Hello, my name is Drew..I myself am half Native american,fathers side (standing rock Souix, North Dakota ), and half German..born and raised in NJ also graduated from Univ. of Colorado with a Bach. in sociology, so i am very intrigued about this topic, a little about my NA heritage.. my father was born on a reservation in ND and raised in nj, but besides that..I am not looking for confrontation, But my question to the Ramapoughs is..word down the grapevine is that the land that your family lives on was unclaimed land..there for it was said that your people claimed squatters rights on it..and want goverment intervention and claim that you are a part of the tribal nations..like the plains and western tribes..so you can be tax free and be self-governing..this may possibly be hersay..but who am i to judge..if you can add some info it will be greatly appreciated
