Reading your message that you wrote about your concerns of the Ramapough Indians I find this very concerning myself being that Iam a Ramapough Indian. Gossip and untruths and legends can ruin a tribe as well as a person life. I find it hard to believe that people are that naive that they have to research to see if there is volience or incestual behavior in a tribal setting. just as you want to do right by your family I have to do right by my next generation. I will not have anyone but a finger or blame or a behavior on my people. again stories old wifes tales, rumor no fact are based on these claims. the communities all over the United states have volience and other behaviors but I see there is no focus on them only on the Ramapoughs. you are entitle to do what you want to do right by your family. well so I will do right by mine. Why don't you go and ask the tribal community about your concerns about the Ramapough behavior if this makes you feel safe. Education is the key and the knowledge learn about the people before you pass judgement.
