I have been on a few differnet websites, none of which have provided me with any clarity towards the subject of the Ramapough Indians. I thank you all for contributing to this message board.

I am a 42 year old single parent living in Mahwah. My only daughter enters high school next year. Like myself, she has always attended public schools. Many of my neighbors are urging me to reconsider this, citing many issues with Ramapough indians. These discussions have lead me to researching the validity of such claims. I am inclined to believe that my neighbors are naive, and are engaging in gossip and the like. But stories of violence and incestual behavior concern me(other websites do not address these issues, and frankly don't take it seriously).

As a concerned parent, I am just attempting to do what is right for my family. If anyone can shed light on the situations in the schools, if there is indeed one, or about the behavior of the Ramapough indians, it would be greatly appreciated.
