Toot:Very good reply. We all know about the "one drop" theory and it also is based on how the individual wants to identify himself. My son looks like his Sri Lankan father, racially is African-American/French/Srilankan but since he was raised in the US, of course he identifies himself as African-American. Its his Sri Lankan family and some other people who have a problem with what identity he uses.
