Dear Mrs.Young-Bennett,

I was fascinated about the discovery of Indian genes in the Puerto Rico population. I recently had sent my DNA off throught the National Geographic Society for anaylsis and posted the genetic results on FamilyTreeDNA website. I received three matches. Of the three,one match was from a woman who was from Puerto Rico and another was a women of Spanish descent. I would have never thought of tracing my mother's side of the family through Puerto Rico without this DNA information. DNA in addition to old-fashion genealogical sluething eventually will open and expose the hidden treasures family historians and genealogist strive to find.
