Within the US, I have met certain East Indian people such as the Purushothamans, the Baigs, the Narains, and Khans. Among these people I have seen what I classify as somewhat of African culture, and maybe it is because that many of them in my opinion look brown to black and so it is just an assumption, as said, an assumption, that they are actually African East Indian. However, during some parts of my conversations with these particular friends of mine we have had ethnic discussions, and they do not acknowledge any African traits whatsoever. One of them did say that he was not sure what went on or what had happened to make him the color that he is, all he knows that there is no African connection. Yet, there is an area within India that does have true blooded African people, but no one knows the name of this place in India. Just applying something here. Joseph
