After reading "Black Indian Genealogical Resaerch", may questions came up in my mind. Angela refered to specific pockets, towns and locations where these groups of people would live. She also discussed how native american tribes other than the big five were systematically eliminated.

Iwould like to know:
Who were these native peoples in Tennessee (Giles, and Humphreys Counties), in Alabama (Perry, and Jefferson County).

Where can i find the towns listed in which these tri-racial isolates lived.

The surnames i am looking at are Brown {cherokee}, Knight {souix}(1870 Hunphreys County TN), Buford, Laird (1860 Giles County TN), Cole, Spivey (1870 Perry County AL), Ransey, Unknown (1880 Aiken South Carolina)
