Re: ADKINS Research
In Response To: ADKINS Research ()
Does this fit in somewhere. I have - Parker Adkins B. 1720 had a daughter Chariy. It is always been said that Charity was the daughter of Bluesky daughter of Shawnee Chief Cornstalk, but most places have her listed as the daughter of Mary "Polly" Fry, but Charity's father Parker had an affair with Bluesky and after Bluesky died at an early age, he brought Charity home and his wife Mary took her in and raised her as her own. The tales of the family was that her darkened skin was not like the rest of the children and when someone said anything, Mary always told them that she was hers. She and Randolph's residence on September 11, 1812 was listed as Raccoon Creek of Beech Fork, Cabell Co., Va. (Now WV). Charity Married Randoph "Randal" Adkins August 27, 1788 Montgomery (Now Giles Co., Va.) - 10 children - Nancy, William, Parker, Jessica, Richard, Randolph, Rhoda, Sylvester, Price & John T.
Have seen this many places, Go to rootsweb.com. Enter Charity Adkins. Then serch again with Father Parker.
