Re: The Danger In Taking A DNA Test
In Response To: The Danger In Taking A DNA Test ()
I am only 25 years old.I have been doing genealogy, you could say, since I was probobly 7 years old.I have allways been highly interested in my family history.I have been hit by a truck,as a pedestrian twice. But to go on about the dna test,my maternal Grandmother has allways confirmed that Her Father had alot of Native American Indian in Him.My maternal Grandmother looks Native American. My paternal Grandfather died a few months, before I was born,January,1980.My paternal Grannny told me my Father's paternal Grandfather, had alot of Native American in him.The pictures I have seen of Him,seem to confirm it.However,my Native American ancestors, chose to live as the white man,and were not on a reservation,or a member of a tribe, and stated on the federal american cesus, that they were white. That is one of the main reasons I want a dna test.To see if it confirms that I have Native American ancestry. And from what the dna clinics have told me,they are within 90%right,and have a 10% margim.
