Re: The Afro German Experience
In Response To: The Afro German Experience ()
Your work is very important because it recognizes that there is an African Diaspora, or colony of Black people, in Germany or Greater Germany. It is influenced by many considerations shaped over a period of centuries and most recently WWII. An African scholar during the late 17th C. taught in a German University. Mr. Joel A. Rogers (an associate of Dr Marcus Garvey) wrote extensively about the Black presence in Germany in relation to Africa.
As a researcher I do not see that such knowledge detracts from the integrity of the teutonic culture and people. They have their own unique culture, heritage and achievements just as Africans have theirs.
Keep up the important work!
