Re: Minnie Driver--Black ancestry?
In Response To: Re: Minnie Driver--Does she have Black ancestry? (audrey)
Looks are always deceiving. One really cannot always put on a stamp on something just because a person may appear to be one nationality or race. You still have to search hard and deep to decide on the ethnicity of a person. I have a case: If I were to identify my mom I would look back and say that sometimes and in someways she resembled some of the women that I had seen in both Palestine and in Israel; however, she looked a little bit like a Native American, which holds true because her grandmother was a Native American. Now what is funny about the whole situation, she in my own opinion and I am only selecting a certain identities of Africans that I know and she never looked like any of them, except for the fact that certain Ethiopians I have witnessed I could identify her with them, especially since she looked a little like Haile Selassie. Was he Ethiopian?
There are Asians, like some Japanese, and some people from India, whose appearance favor some of those Africans that I have seen. Minnie Driver's ancestry may be African, who is to know?
