I found an interesting Danish website that features African culture. It's not surprising that the Danes are interested in African culture. The country was the first to abolish slavery in the Caribbean.

Two centuries later, a native son of Denmark chronicled the history of America's only original art form. One of the world's renowned jazz historians is Grammy Award winner, Chris Albertson and author of the soon to be released book "Bessie" (Bessie Smith, Empress of the Blues)

The links on this page will take you to many fascinating cultural sites. I loved the links to the salsa bands of Denmark. One correction though, salsa is NOT a Cuban creation....but I'll let that mistake slide and enjoy the music featured there.
