Their "About Us" says this:

At Café de la Soul - Your Source on Black Paris, we wish to highlight, celebrate and explore not only the African American community in Paris, but also the thriving African and Afro-Caribbean communities. And in the process of doing so, we hope to inform our readers as well as inspire them to explore a culturally significant Paris in a way they, perhaps, never dreamed possible.
