Glenda's posting truly highlights the sad aburdity of the "American" race classification system. Her grandfather being half Indian & half white, with dark hair and blue eyes, having lived in the general population, yet being buried as black. In the American scheme of things native americans even frequently more marginiized-----and fall into the general American classification of not 100% white, therefore black.
