I wrote the piece about the African Americans who ended up helping to settle Australia back in January 2007. It is a fascinating story and one that I am very much interested in. Much of my research is concerned with Blacks in the Pacific Islands, but also including Australia. Have you recorded previous generations of your Australian family? Do you know very much about the Martin family? Do you know any of the Australian families of the African American men who came to Australia with Randall such as Janel(Daniel) Gordon,Thomas Orford, Caesar, John Coffin, Samuel Chinery?
