Miss. Charles Emily Wilson, 96, passed away Monday, July 24, 2006 at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral service Sunday, July 30, 2006, 2:00 p.m., at the St. John Baptist Church, Brackettville, Texas.

Interment at the Seminole Indian Scouts Cemetery, Brackettville, Texas.

Arrangement by the Sunset Funeral Home, Del Rio, Texas.

After departing the church, the procession will travel to the Seminole Negro Indian Scouts Historic Marker where a brief ceremony will be held. The marker is located near where Miss. Wilson was born on the former Seminole Indian Settlement along the Los Moras Creek on the Fort Clark Military Reservation.

Afterwards, the procession will travel along the old route on Fort Clark to the cemetery.

Miss. Wilson's resting place will be next to her sister, Dorothy Wilson, in the family plot with her parents, Billy and Rebecca July Wilson.
