When, where and under what circumstances did Harriet Tubman meet Colonel James Montgomery, Commander of the 34th United States Colored Infantry Regiment (2nd Regiment, South Carolina Volunteers)?

I am curious because of her association with John Brown before Harper's Ferry. Brown and Montgomery were partners along with others during the free-state movement in Kansas.
