Hello,

I read recently that the mother of Hariett Tubman(her original name was Arminta Ross) was HARIETT GREENE from Dorchester Maryland. Her father's name was Benjamin Ross.

Does anyone know about any other relatives of Hariett Tubman?
In the 1870 census, I see a Benjamin Ross,M, B, 23 living in Dorchester that could have been a relative.
In 1860 I see a John Tubman(her husband's name) in Dorchester 60,M, B... maybe they are related.I also see a John Tubman 35 that is white.
Does anyone know the slave owners for the Tubman's or the Ross family.

I know that there are a lot of GREEN's in Ann Arundel. I'm not sure if they were related to Hariett Tubman's mother, Hariett Green.
