The trip was great. Once we left Manhattan, NY, we decided to take a side trip to Auburn, NY. We of course got to visit the museum and see the Harriet Tubman home. Mrs. Carter remembers you well. Once the tour was over, we stayed for an extended conversation with her. I see that your book is one of those displayed in the glass case in the museum. From Auburn, NY, we arrived in Buffalo late in the evening and the next morning we arose early for the trip to St. Catharines (as well as Niagara Falls). We went by the Church in St. Catharines, but we did not enter. This was a photo moment for my daughters. We did go by the museum in St. Catharines for the African American exhibit.

Overall it was a great experience and it has taken me a good week to recuperate from all the driving. But I would do it again.
