The media reported in 1/06 that funds had been made available to do work on the house. The general belief is that this investment would be a step toward getting it set up to reopen. However, I've also heard through the grapevine that the funds would be used to, at least in part, do a study to "prove" or "disprove" the Slave "House Theory", with a bent toward disproving I'm afraid.

The Slave House is a rare case of seeing is believing. In my humble opinion, it should be preserved and reopened. I've campaigned for this to happen...only time will tell. Time here is not a friend...too much time has already past.
