I am the president of the Christiana, Delaware Historical Society. In the 1820's, this village had one of the largest free black communities in the state, and was on a navigable waterway to Garrett's house in Wilmington. Logic tells me it must have been a station on the Railrod, but I haven't come across direct evidence yet. Does anyone out there have any info to help me in my quest?????
