From the Cincinnati Enquirer:
"The center will not seek a specific levy, like the one that supports Cincinnati Museum Center, he said, but will ask city, state and federal governments to provide the funding out of existing budgets."

I ask, why state & federal dollars? Didn't grassroot UGRR research, documentation & preservation groups nationwide suffer enough when MOST of the money provided by the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Act went to help finance the "Freedom Center"?
Still unanswered is .....who and what governmental agency, at any level, do the Freedom Center's responsible indiviuals (board & operating officials) answer to, if any? Depending upon the source, 40 to 55 percent of the initial 110 million dollars came from public funding.
Is the levy which supports the Cincinnati Museum Center funded locally, statewide and/or national?
