I am hoping someone on this list might have knowledge of this woman, who might have been an URR agent. This comes from a brief obituary, January 24, 1887 (Brooklyn Eagle):

"One of the original operators of the "Underground Railroad," Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Ball, who had a record of sixty-three slaves whom she aided to freedom, died yesterday in Philadelphia, where she had resided for forty-six years."
