This photo was given to me at the OGS Conference in Akron, OH 15 Apr 2005. It was presented by Mrs. Margaret Siebert, relationship to Wilbur Siebert, if any, is unknown at this time.

Riply Ohio June 1891
When the bust of Rev. Jon Rankin was placed on his tomb. Bust was in copper, made by Ellen Capp (?) - a relative. She and her son stand at the right of the tombstone.
The four gray bearded men seated at the left are Rankin sons. The white haired lady just behind the men is Grandmother Rebecca Lowry.
The girl in front at far right is Julia ???? , grand niece of Rev. Rankin. The woman & girl just right are Mrs. Cleveland and her daughter, Eloise.
The colored lady at Grandma's right is Mrs. Kitty Atwood, who was one of the babies cared for at the Rankin House when herr slave mother was escaping & who later came back and raised her. Mr. Atwood (Kitty's husband) is fartherest right of the picture. He was Mayor of Ripley.
