Underground Railroad Research Forum

Re: FORKS OF THE ROADS, NATCHEZ, MISSISSIPPI

Thank you, Bennie for your response to my inquiry about William Johnson, the barber of Natchez. He is indeed not the same 19th century William H. Johnson of Alexandria, Albany, and Philadelphia that I am researching.
Fortunately through this forum I have been connected with Paul Stewart, and will be able to bring further inquiry and sources on the Underground Railroad William H. Johnson to the Albany Underground Railroad gathering in February, 2004.

Many thanks to all, also Sersechs Boxley, who noted that the Mississippi William Johnson was not a good person, a lackey to whites, and a wife-beater.
