I would hope that this museum, within the body of the above mission statement, would have 'stated' something about the runaway slaves themselves. Let's also hear their stories; from their written accounts and from their descendants!

Characterization of the abolitionists and conductors are fine and necessary - but so is the testimony of the runaway slaves.

Mr. Burke, if I can't have the assurance that my slave Ancestors are the main focus of this museum, then I'll have to find other reasons to visit Cincinatti.
