Hi Ronald - Good to see you are still researching 'our favorite fellow'. I came up with a few things that sheds some light on the ownership of the boat and it also poses a few questions that makes me wonder what was really going on. Part was the underground movement but it also involved people who were making a living in the maritime field. I am down to the last rewrites on the book and I think the DeBaptiste chapter will suprise you. Norman read the Detroit chapter and said that it looked good, but it did not include the Atwood or DeBaptiste material as I am still sorting it out. It is good to think you can put out a book on the UGRR and half of the material is brand new. Keep in touch.
