I am originally from Dayton, Ohio, and doing my own genealogical research. Had I not spent twenty seven years in the army, I may have had the opportunity to listen and learn from my relatives. As it is, I envy you and can only hope to experience what I felt as I read your article. I do however have my moments of tearful joy when assisted by others, I find a living relative with a story to add to the ones I have found since starting my journey, or a dusty discovery when I uncover more information on those that have gone on before me.
