Hello again. It has been a while since I've posted. I told you previously
about an upcoming radio program entitled, "The Drinking Gourd" We all know
the story of the coded song. The radio show will begin this Thursday evening
at 6:00 pm on wmpr90.1 radio station in Jackson, MS featuring stories from
the underground railroad, black history facts and more. Please tune in. The

I need story submissions. If you have stories of ancestors who escaped,

ran, but also stories of those who stayed behind and the reasons behind their
decision not to run.
We have a golden opportunity here for a public forum to get our stories out.

I've never done anything in broadcasting and have been blessed with a
golden opportunity to tell the stories of our people. The show is a thirty
minute show consisting of stories from the UGRR, a personal
empowerment segment,
an African American genealogy segment (need lots of help here) a Black
History fact segment and music segment featuring songs, and artists which fall
along the path of the UGRR. Please tune in and send your comments,
