Oops, correction to the previous post...It is David Stanup, not Richard Stanup as I previously stated. David & Levi were the sons of Richard Stanup (Stanhope) who lived to be 114 years of age (1748-1862), father of 28 children by three (3) wives and Richard Stanup is reported to have been a personal valet to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War.
