This is the first discussion I've seen on people involved in the UGRR in Lenawee Co. MI. I have reason to believe my GGrandfather, GEORGE CARSON, was aided by a HUFF/HOUGH family from that county in the mid-1800s. My GGrandmother was RACHEL HUFF/HOUGH, & most likely descended from the HUFFs of Hunterdon & Somerset Counties in NY.

Do you happen to know of HUFFs in your county who were active in the UGRR?
