Yes, Ancestry.Com is indeed a very good tool to use; however there are some unusal errors that pop up now and then. For instance, I was just looking into the 1910 Census for Rowan County, N.C. for John Heilig, whom I actuall know is John Heilig because of the information I have and all of the other things. Anyway, what Ancestry.Com has presented to me just recently is the name John Herliz, followed by his wife Maggie Herliz, and the children.
As a forwarning, know best what you are looking for and check the image part or the schedules for your family, because more than likely what the archives schedule has is a lot truer than what Ancestry.Com puts there. I still like Ancestry.Com because it is informative, but like anything else we have to go beyond. Just a note.
