Oops...open mouth and insert foot. I thought FTM was providing an online demo to review the V16 features in the free starter offer. Now, like you I'm not sure what the consequences would be, if any, downloading the "free' starter version.

Yeah, more and more the field of independent genealogy software & products seems to be shrinking. While the umbrella of Ancestry & company is getting larger and larger.

Don't think that will help me. My wife threw me and my wireless laptop out of the bedroom. The law is......genealogy research in the computer area on the PC and/or laptop anywhere but NOT in the bedroom. And I'm a law-abiding citizen.
