Nope, use both FTM & RM. I try to take advantage of the best features of each.

The method to my madness is to do my updates in RM because I like their ability to place photos on all printed products and a few of the data entry manuipulations (two files) open at the same time are a couple of examples.

I maintain FTM as my Home Page on the 'Net is one of the FTM features I like and I've invested a fair amount of time to it. I especially like the ability to portray "thumbnail" photos in the My Family History section of the FTM Home Page. Which incidently needs updating.

I keep the FTM & RM data in sync by doing freqent GEDCOM's from RM to FTM. One of the few disadvantages to this procedure is that GEDCOM can't transfer the photo files.
