I'm not sure, but it doesn't sound like you made a mess. It sounds like you jave been very thorough in listing everyone.

This might help. Go to the top upper left of the page and click on "People" on the tool bar. You will get a drop down menu. Read the menu and choose the function that is best for what you want to do.
