On the 1900 census my grandfather, George Walker, his 1st wife and their children all have their names transcribed correctly except wife Sarah's middle initial is transcribed "H" when I think it should be "A". However, on 1910 census, the transcriber got all the names wrong! Error notifications have been sent by me, but the corrections have not been done. They merely list them as "alternative" names. I'm glad to know it's not just MY kinfolk who have been subjected to this transcription fiasco. On the bad side, though, when will Ancestry ever fix this problem? I've almost given up...think I'll switch over to Genealogy.com, or something.
