If you haven't subscribed to our new RSS feed, What are you waiting for? We only have one at the moment--AfriGeneas News (site news and announcements)--but have plans to add two more.

To subscribe, all you have to do is get an RSS reader, either web-based or one housed on your own hard drive, and paste the url of our feed into the subscription field. Alternatively, if you're using a web-based reader with feed auto-detect, you can click on the orange button on our main page, follow directions, and . . . voila!

We've been trying a few readers of both types and have some suggestions.

WEB-BASED:

Google Reader - http://www.google.com/reader
Easy sign-up. Nice interface. Updates frequently.

My Yahoo - http://www.yahoo.com
Can install as a module. Customizable. Appears to update only once a day.

Firefox Browser - (we get credit if you download using the button on the Slave Data page)
Easy install in Bookmarks. Shows headines only.

Bloglines - http://www.bloglines.com/
Just so-so. Slower than others. Updates once a day.

DESKTOP:

Tested FeedReader and FeedDemon. Not really satisfied with either one.
