VKN, prior to your post, I was re-reading the thread and thinking if anyone got anything out of it?

If you use social media like twitter and or facebook, there is one app that is a must: Flipboard(free). It turns your social content tweets and updates in facebook into a digital magazine. I also put 9to5 Mac, Cult of Mac, TUAW and Gizmodo in my digital magazine to try to keep up with the latest news; there seems to changes everyday. I also turned my contacts in flickr into a magazine. Here's the kicker, I am not fond of magazines at all but I love what I can do with Flipboard.

If you love words Scrabble (like Oprah said)is just amazing on iPad. USA Today has free app, along with NPR and Dictionary.com. I look forward to my word of the day from Dictionary.com.

Oh, I almost forgot, Yahoo! has an app that allows the end user to sketch a circle on an area of a map to search for restaurants. Again, this is free.
