I'm trying to figure out what's the difference between this and just simply going to maps.google.com and typing in street address? They use google maps anyway, it's like going to google without actually going to google.
And it's almost like false advertising, they say go down memory lane as if you can type in an old address and they actually will show you how the houses, streets, city/town, etc. looked at that time or down through history. When it's only an up-to-date view of houses, apartments, streets, cities/towns, or empty pieces of land where your house/apartment once stood.
I see nothing different from going straight to google maps.
And I say up-to-date views, actually, these street views were taken about 3 or 4 years ago, so this site has old google street views. Google has since updated their own street views.
The problem with this is so much has changed that nothing looks familiar anymore, it's hard to go down memory lane when you don't REMEMBER buildings, houses, streets, being there or looking the way they look now. Only people my age, 40 years and younger can truly go down memory lane, but even still, so much changed within the last 10 years, it's hard to remember anything. You can only go back as far as 5 years ago. So what is Memory lane?
