Well you have options and there are about to launch IPad on Verizon as well.

Right now IPad comes in three flavors, if you will. I believe the lowest memory is $499 and the highest $899. There is a middle price as well. All three have cost a few extra greenbacks added if you get 3G on top of the standard Wi-Fi

I am not of fan of paying for extras but I believe $15.00 on a month to month bases isn't a bad deal. Starting and stopping is a matter of indicating that on the IPad. I believe I received an email indicating that I could discontinue and restart service on my Ipad from another computer.

I don't know how Ipad will be structured on Verizon but I know I am most satisfied with AT&T's plan.

And the apps, well some are $0.99 to $20.00 or so greenbacks for a books. There are some free apps that carry advertisements with it.
