The error message this user is encountering is usually caused by a firewall. You may wish to consider changing your port to 8008 to determine if this helps alleviate the issue. This can be changed from the Settings -> Advanced section in your AddonChat account control panel.
If this person is attempting to access the chat room from a work or academic environment, he may have to contact the organization's IT department for assistance. If this person is using personal hardware or software firewall which has been configured to be extremely strict by blocking outbound connections, we would advise resetting the firewall's security settings to Medium/Normal (or default) settings.
