Well looks like I may have to retype a whole lot of stuff for one surname. An email was sent to RootsMagic to import information up until July "09 for free. This is a new program and some of it is famliar, but I will have to go through each familiar item bit by bit. I decided to only work with this VANCE name right now since I already have 2 family reunion booklets made for the paternal side, with as much information as I was able to confirm. Thanks to all of you for your help..And don't be surprised it I don't come screaming back to you . And you can believe I am not going to DELETE anything until I ask somebody first. I really did not want a program where it would get published to the public and information might get changed. I needed this control at all times.
