Joseph, I loaded FTM2010 on my computer and stayed with it. You will notice a few things that stand out with each name. If you are a subscriber to ancestry.com, then you can click on the small green leaf that appears in the lower left corner of where the name is typed. The green leaf only appears on names that has information posted online such as: census, etc. A such is done automatically by ancestry.com. When you click on the green leaf, and this is where patience comes in, you will automatically received a list of where that person appears on the census and in other records posted on ancestry. It will also direct you to any family tress posted that might show a match. I've connected with a few people in the past two weeks after trying this function. In case I'm not clear. You don't have to go online. When you click on the green leaf the program goes online to ancestry automatically; providing you registered the FTM2010 in the same name (etc) that you use for ancestry. Another feature is the association relationship of each person you enter. For example, the upper right corner of the page will list the relationship of the name of the person to the person you designate as "Home Person". Ed Adams Messages In This Thread
