I remember many of those "old day" situations.

The on-line enhancements are fantastic, but if not careful one can become lazy and fall into some bad habits. We still have to find a way to verify the information found on some of those on-line databases.

Genealogy Software packages - I'm a long time FTM user from "the days of DOS" . They and many of the others are really great and allow so much flexibilty with data entry, familial connections, etc. and the almost limitless amount of data they hold. whew!!!! No more 2,000 person limit.

Looks like this Forum will be a very nice addition to AfriGeneas....Thanks.
