Do you mean the entire document or a magnified portion?

To download the entire image you must first display the image. Most of the ancestry transcriptions have a "View image" option. In the upper right portion of the image, once it is displayed, is a number of menu option Icons for printing, saving the file and other options. The icon to save a file is a floppy disk. Once you select this option, it prompts you to select other options such as saving the entire image or "current view" image. Select entire image and follow the standard procedures to save a file for your operating system.

To download a magnified image is exactly the same except you select saving the "current view" the current. Note the assumption is that you have magnified a certain portion of the image with the magnifying glass incons on the upper left side of the image header.

If you are using a post WinXp operating system you can still download the entire image and use Windows Fax and Picture Viewer to display and zoom the image. This is good because you now have the entire image. You can then use Paint or another image editor to edit the image for inclusion into other documents of your choice.
