As the Internet evolves, so must Internet web sites. Web sites that are interactive, such as AfriGeneas, must try to stay on top of developments to maintain user safety in an increasingly precarious environment.

On all of AfriGeneas' message boards, the Send E-Mail function has been partially disabled. Private messages between users can no longer be sent via this function. The function was being used by some unscrupulous people to send spam (and who knows what else) to the person posting the message.

The Forum Managers however, still use the function to contact those whose messages may require clarification or some other information.
