Re: Mac Laptop and Reunion Software?
In Response To: Mac Laptop and Reunion Software? ()
Julius; As an avid Mac user for nearly two decades, I use Reunion all the time to keep track of my family files. I absolutely hate Reunion ... it is missing SO many features that competitive PC genealogy programs have, it's not very intuitive, normal Mac keyboard shortcuts that work on EVERY OTHER MACINTOSH APPLICATION don't work in Reunion ... I could go on and on. But what choice do I have? It functions as well as it's designed to, on my Mac titanium laptop, but the program itself just isn't very good. I know I could buy one of the Intel-based Mac laptops which would allow me to port my Reunion files into one of the Windows based programs and run it on my Mac, and I may very well do that. Despite all the "enhancements" Leister Products has made with their product over the years, Reunion is still a lousy program. My two cents. - Lisa B. Lee, PLCGS
