The AfriGeneas Tool Box has been added to the web site to help our users get as much from their stay here as possible by offering links to information throughout the WWW about computer, Internet and genealogical technologies.

When you submit URL's to AfriGeneas for inclusion on the Tool Box pages, they will, along with the URL's that the staff places there, make available to our users the type of information they need to help them complete their projects. Also, by discussing the usefulness, accuracy, clarity, etc. of the information at the specific web sites, here on the Genealogy Technology Forum, users will get a better understanding of the topics and subjects in question.

The URL's (Uniform Resource Locator's) on the Tool Box page are currently "dummies". They are just 'place holders' there to help give you some idea of how we envision it may look...it is still under construction. So, we're asking you to help shape how this Tool Box will benefit all AfriGeneas users by sending us the web sites that have good, solid information, that's easy to understand. Then, discussing the information in this forum if you think it may help folks better understand what they find at that web site.

Some URL's that are sent in may not be included on the Tool Box pages due to a number of different considerations, but all will be evaluated with the appropriateness and helpfulness to our users as a prime factor.

Technology changes at such a rapid pace that most of us could use a little assistance with understanding some of it from time-to-time. Here is where we can help each other along the way.
