The 1930 census also list William's age as 55 years but over the 30 years that he lived in Philadelphia, his birth year drifted from 1867 - 1875. William was married to Cora Woodson (b. 1871 VA) in Philadelphia in 1899. William Brown was born in either DC, MD or VA. Also in the 1930 census, William's niece, Cora Adams Holcomb and her husband Prophet Holcomb are living a few doors away at 6607 Musgrave St. and they are listed as owning their home. William's wife, Cora Woodson Brown, is listed as a widow in the 1940 census.
