I would like to get some info on the history of the community. I had family who lived in the area 1900-2004 and noticed the area looked like it was mainly a black area. Usually from the black point of view, there is a unique life style. Is there somewhere anywhere suggested I can start. My people actually lived in Edgefield SC but seemed to migrated to this area by 1900. I am hoping to find Pinckney/Pinkney descendants.
